Buenos Aires - 1

 

I had a great flight to Buenos Aires and enjoyed since a few day the life here. The city center look pretty European (some says BA is a mix between Paris, Madrid and London – the city center at least). Among all the locals I've met, many have a European background, especially Italy or Germany.

My hostel is in Florida street, the big commercial street, heart of the city.

I have seen the impressive Avenue del 9 Julio (with 10 lanes on each sides), el puerto Madero, la Boca (a poor city district but famous because of his stadium and soccer team), San Telmo (some nice bars, squares...), the cemetery in Recoleta district etc...and of course I have already intended to some really enjoyable Tango shows.

Night life is especially great, and for this reason many tourists and especially Brazilians come here for vacation. And I am fascinated how friendly most of them are!
